Step back in time to the Alice Springs of old at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station – the birth place of Alice Springs! the Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve marks the original site of the first European settlement in Alice Springs.

Take a guided tour or enjoy wandering at your own pace through the original buildings including policemen’s quarters, harness and buggy sheds, a Stationmasters residence, battery room, blacksmith’s shop and a kitchen-mess room. Don’t miss out on the famous vanilla slice at the Trail Station Kiosk/ café. Keep an eye out for kangaroos and dingos passing through the reserve.
