Here’s what one of our guest had to say about our pet friendly accommodation:
“This is the first place I have stayed with my dogs, paying the ‘pet fee’, and seen anything for the extra cash. Usually, you call a hotel/motel, make a booking, then mention you have pets, and they whack $$ on the rate, for no real added benefit to the customer. I know there’s probably extra cleaning, etc, that has to be done… but it always seems a little excessive…”
“This time, however, I was allocated an easy to access room for my convenience (close the to the car park, no stairs). On arrival, there were two bowls setup (one for food, and one with water in it) in the corner of the room for use by my four legged companions, and my welcome pack included useful information for pet owners (vets, pet friendly parks, etc). Additionally, a fitted sheet had been placed over the couch, and an additional sheet provided for the bed (to keep the fur/dog hair and paw prints off the furniture). ”
“This was a very welcome surprise, and has re-calibrated my expectations in terms of what ‘pet friendly’ can mean. Little things, I know, but it made all the difference. I did not expect to see this in Alice. We have stayed elsewhere in town previously, however, we’ll I know where we’ll be staying next time. Thanks, Alice in the Territory”…..December 2018”
